Hamamelis vernalis - vernal witchhazel

A wonderful native form of witchhazel with a rounded growth habit. The leaves turn to a golden yellow in autumn.  The flowers open in January and are smallest of the species but packs a fragrant punch.  Grows 6-10 ft. high and generally wider at maturity. Zones 4-8
