Acer palmatum ‘Ryu sei’

An unusual weeping palmatum species of Japanese maple, Ryu sei translates to '“falling stars” in English. The new leaves emerge in spring a nice yellow-green before fading to a darker green in summer. In fall, the leaves take on an attractive orange to red color. We typically stake our specimens to 3 feet and let them cascade over the pot to make a beautiful weeping effect.

Height and Width: 10 ft. weeping mound.
