Acer dissectum ‘Crimson Queen’

In our experience, ‘Crimson Queen’ Japanese maple can endure the full sun better than all other dissectum cultivars. Where other cultivar’s foliage tends to fade in the hot months of summer, ‘Crimson Queen’ keeps its color throughout. It can withstand exposure to full sun in temperatures as hot as 100 degrees F with practically no sunburn—which is why it is quickly becoming a very popular specimen within the United States. Its fall color is a very bright scarlet.
